- Abstract
- Influence of КЦЗ zircon concentrates (produced by Volnogorsk Mining Complex, Ukraine) and Zircon F (supplied by Possen Erzkonter) on phase composition and physicomechanical characteristics of ZrO2-3Al2O3×2SiO2 ceramic materials from zircon-silica mixtures was studied by thermomechanical analysis, Raman spectroscopy and X-ray phase analysis. Zircon concentrate composition was shown to influence phase formation processes during heat treatment of zircon and silica, but to have no influence on density, apparent porosity and water absorption of materials sintered at 1650 °C.
