- Abstract
- One-step technology has been developed for synthesis of cross-linked polyisocyanurate polymers based on polypropyleneglycol-2000 (PPG-2000) and 2,4-toluenediisocyanate (2,4-TDI). These polymer networks are used for preparation of the gradient-modulus materials. This technology is more perspective if compare with the previous two-step technology. The one-step technology allows preparation bulky and composite materials in which the modulus of elasticity demonstrates smooth tranition from small values (for instance, 2-3 MPa typical of rubbery polymers) to high values 3.5 GPa (typical of glassy polymers). The technology allows producing the articles with plastic surface and rubbery internal zones. These materials can be used as shock-absorbers for metallic constructions.
