- Abstract
- The article is devoted to the methodics of determining criteria of external lightning protection in compliance with requirements of the domestic and international standard documentation. The mathematical model is implemented as "Shield-M" program for PC in MathCAD system. The program determines external protection zones for lightning-rod system situated at the level of protected equipment, considering the estimation of risks corresponding to specifics of the object to be designed.
