- Abstract
- The use of magnetothermal treatment is considered as a technique of improving technological properties of aluminum oxide ceramics, leading to the formation of more perfect microstructure. It is supposed to be possible to evolve both elementary acts of the rearrangement of atoms in solids and particular cluster configurations by modeling the Al2O3 cluster organization. The magnetic medium is considered as a medium for excitation of forces causing the relaxation process conducting to changes of structure and properties of the processed material. The estimation of time of structural transformations in γ-Al2O3 while processing in a constant symmetrized magnetic field has been carried out.
