- Abstract
- The stability of the trilayer cylindrical aggregate shells under the action of the axial contractive efforts is investigated. Simple formulae for the calculation of the critical efforts on the basis of broken line model at the light filler are presented. Formulae contain three generalized stiffnesses, which specify the carrying layers resistance, trilayer package and filler. The analysis of more than forty experimental results is conducted and their comparison with theoretical calculation data is given. On the basis of the statistical processing of the results of the comparisons the correction empirical factors are proposed.
