- Abstract
- This paper presents an overview of novel ceramic materials with high service properties. Technological features of manufacturing ceramic materials based on partially stabilised zirconia, alumina and mixture there of with high density and durability, dense and porous zirconia, alumina, magnesium oxide, silicon carbide ceramics, bio-active hydroxyapatite and tribasic calcium phosphate ceramics are discussed. Possible application fields for novel ceramic materials are suggested.
