- Abstract
- The present work proves in theory a possibility to achieve the effect of polymer "self-reinforcement" in a traditional process of laminated polymeric composite making. It is shown that at filtering of the binding agent through a pack of half-finished composite there can be shearing stresses sufficient to deform the binder dispersed phase in anisometric formations. The requirements are made for composite material composition and fabrication parameters, which shall be met for possible realization of spatially reinforced structure.
