- Abstract
- The electrical insulating composite insertion is the element of the cathodic corrosion protection of the pipeline. The brief review of insulating insertions and constructive scheme description are considered. It is noted that the development of the adequate methods of the design and calculation of the electrical insulating composite insertion is the urgent engineering problem. The variants of the stress-strain calculation in this object are proposed. The thermoelastic relations of the laminated composites are used for analysis of mechanical properties of the constructive material. Two loading cases of the composite insertion are considered - intrinsic pressure loading and joint acting of the intrinsic pressure and bending moment. Calculation examples are described.
