- Abstract
- The problem of an estimation of residual carrying ability and reliability of ferro-concrete elements such as a beam is considered. À maximum load determined on limi-ting value of durability of armature is chosen as the measure of carrying ability. In practice more than 70-75 % of ferro-concrete designs fail owing to excess of a reserve of durability of armature. Reliability of a design is characterized by an interval of the top and bottom values of probabilities of functioning of a design. The analysis of uncertainties is carried out by methods of the theory of opportunities. The estimation of reliability of a design received in result allows taking in due time measures under the prevention of failures.
