- Abstract
- The paper examines the main transport problems associated with the movement of oil reserves in the oil terminal seaport. Probability theory and queuing theory involved for the analysis of stochastic processes under conditions of minimal organizational constraints. Terms of fuel tankers are described involving Poisson stream of events. This allowed us to obtain quantitative relations for the probabilistic description of the distribution of surplus and required insurance reserves of oil in storage. Verification of the results carried out by simulation.
