- Abstract
- The phase and polycrystalline (grain) structures as well as the electrical properties of environmentally friendly magnetoelectric solid solutions based on bismuth ferrite, BiFeO3, with different contents of rare earth elements (Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Yb, Tm, Lu) were investigated. The evolution of the phase composition and the microstructure of the investigated ceramics depending on the modifiers concentrations were shown. The conclusion about the possibility of using the results to create a new generation of multifunctional, environmentally friendly materials was made.
