- Abstract
- This paper represents the author's method of development of efficient algorithms of building 3D-models for dedicated computer systems of rapid prototyping. In this paper, enhancement of algorithm efficiency is considered as reduction of the time and memory complexities by means of decrease of the input problem length. In order to demonstrate using the method, the author has developed an instance of reducing the time and memory complexities of the algorithm of building 3D-model in the stl-format. Results of a comparative analysis of this algorithm and that of the foreign system, which is similar in purpose, are reported.
