- Abstract
- The investigation results of physical and mechanical properties of the frictional copper material with friction component of silicon carbide produced by powder metallurgy are presented. The microstructure of the material, its hardness, wear-resistance and tribological characteristics are considered. It was established that the simplicity of composition and of process for producing of transfer mechanism from Cu-SiC frictional material and its high frictional properties open wide perspectives for its application as items in different fields of technics.
