- Abstract
- A method of creating electronic maps allowing to determine the correspondence of cartographic objects of a topographical map to image points on a computer screen with required accuracy for the visualization of aircraft reach was proposed. The method is based on modern programming and visualization systems. The necessary scale parameters for using the transformation which puts plane rectangular coordinates in accordance to the screen coordinates were discovered. Estimation errors were conducted using this method. The results for the practical application of this developed method to display the reach of aircraft were provided.
