- Abstract
- The study is describes the climatic aspects of the post-glacial migrations of Homo sapiens. We show that the crisis in modern Europe has also connection to the long-term climate changes, which leads to changes in the types of human migrations. The article describes the climatic cycles and main human migration types on the basis of historical information. The possible aspects of the further deterioration of the ecological situation in the various regions of the world due to the advancing climate change, hunger, disease, exacerbation of armed conflicts and migration of large numbers of people from tropical to subtropical regions, etc. were discussed. The article discusses the long-term threat of the climate changes for Russia.
