- Abstract
- The results of modernization of the powder metallurgy (PM) technology for improving quality of the articles intended for aerospace technique made of high-temperature metallic and intermetallic alloys are presented. Technological cycle PM in Joint Stock Company "Kompozit" consists of the plasma rotating electrode process (PREP), technology of powders preparation and consolidation of the prealloyed spherical powders by hot isostatic pressing. Using improved PM technology Joint Stock Company "Kompozit" designed and fabricated a set of new PM high-temperature alloys based on Ni, Ti, and intermetallic compounds NiAl, Ni3Al, NbAl, and functional (with shape-memory effect) alloy based on TiNi. A number of net shape and complex (steel road + Ni-based superalloy blades) parts for aerospace constructions is produced too.
