- Abstract
- The article justifies methods for experimental estimation of critical angles for arbitrary material types. The concept of a critical angle is defined as angle between trajectory and surface normal, and is a special metric, which helps to determine stability of material laid up along arbitrary trajectories. It is shown that critical angle value depends on the properties of laid up material, mold surface and layup machinery.
