- Abstract
- In this article the issue of estimation of the residual strain arising in CFRP during curing by using embedded FBG sensors is discussed. The key mechanisms of residual strain formation during processing are described. The results of measurement of the residual strain development in unidirectional CFRP specimens in longitudinal and transversal direction while cured are given. The data obtained is characterized from a perspective of processes taking place in CFRP during curing.
