- Abstract
- In article it is shown that the natural and resource potential of coastal zones of the Arctic seas of Russia, we mean and it is urgent for sustainable development of national economy in general. Foreign experience of development of coastal territories and feature of the integrated management by them, for the purpose of development of uniform policy in the sphere of protection and resource management of coastal territories of Russia is considered. It is shown that the scientific material on the resource capacity of coastal territories of the Arctic seas of Russia received by Vniiokeangeologiya's experts since 1948, is a basis for the first time of the created informational and analytical base in the concept of integrated management of their coastal zones. Use of materials of Vniiokeangeologiya, when scheduling and carrying out operational works in a coastal zone, at preservation of a surrounding medium, will allow to keep the considerable material, labor and time expenditure at the state level.
