- Abstract
- In the article the approach of calculating the spatial-temporal characteristics of the auroral oval. Knowledge of the characteristics of the auroral oval it is proposed to use to assess the conditions of observation of auroral radio reflections in the area of responsibility of the radar early warning stations, operating in conditions of high-latitude ionosphere. The article discusses the use of radar early warning stations on the location of auroral radio reflections real-time estimation of perturbation of the geomagnetic field of the Earth. Presents preliminary results of such evaluation.
