- Abstract
- Influence of stress relaxation of sealings made from polymer or composite materials such as fluoroplastics, rubbers and rubber-fluoroplastics at different stress-strained states is investigated. It is shown that relaxation process donot depends on stress-strained state of sealing and physical and mechanical properties of sealing material. It is noted that observed distinctions in intensity and size of relaxation arenot so important with point of view of availability of sealings on account of incomparison of exploitation time with relaxation time as well as insignificant reduction of finite effort in comparison with initial level.
