- Abstract
- The problem of the flexural dynamic deformation was formulated for flexible reinforced shallow shells with elastic-plastic behavior of composition materials. The weakened resistance of such structures to the transverse shears was taken into account in Reissner and Reddy theories. The geometric nonlinearity of the problem was considered in the Karman approximation. The elastic-plastic behavior of the material components of the composition was described by a theory of flow with isotropic hardening. The explicit numerical method of type of "cross" scheme was developed to solve the given problems at loads of explosive type. The dynamic elastic-plastic behavior of reinforced spherical shallow shells of circular in plan with a hard internal insertion and elongated cylindrical panels under loads, caused by air blast was investigated. It was shown that because of the physical and geometric nonlinearity of the given problem, the dynamic response of a reinforced shallow shell appreciably depends on which front surface (concave or convex) the explosive load is applied.
