- Abstract
- Using the ANSYS package the influence of the quantity and displacement of longitudinal ribs of carbon-epoxy composite lattice cylindrical shell on their mass was investigated in cases where stability or rigidity constraints exist. In the first case the shells were loaded with longitudinal compressive and shear forces. In the second the concentrated mass was fixed on the edge of the shell. The results can be used in the design of similar structures.
