- Abstract
- The study prisents the results of analytic research of the problem of fly ash and bottom ash of thermal power coal plants. The directions of used fly and bottom ash on TPS is shown. It is noticed that storage of fly and bottom ash in the ash dumps of waste leads to pollution of groundwater, soil and air. The results of fly and bottom ash separation in order to recover lite fraction (microsphers), magnetic and non - magnetic fractions is given. Some problems of rare metals extraction from coal ashes are considered. The article shows the prospects how to improve the use of fly and bottom ash.
