- Abstract
- The mechanisms of interaction between the respiratory and vasomotor centers in various types of hypoxia were well presented on the examples of the studies. Experiments on the effect of hypoxia on the vital activity of man and animal, as well as adaptive and compensatory functions of the organism on hypoxia, are described in detail. The examples of the experiments showed the importance of the higher parts of the brain to the lack of oxygen in the process of adaptation of an adult organism.
