- Abstract
- The physical and mechanical solidity concept of the high-strength polymeric composite materials (PCM) is considered and calculation formulas for their definition are given. Calculated values of characteristics for various nature polymeric matrixes, realization coefficient of PCM matrix properties and solidity coefficient for PCM on the basis of polymeric matrixes and reinforcing fillers are given. A good correlation of properties of PCM with the solidity coefficient was established, that allows to choose the optimum reinforcing fillers, to design the compositions of polymer matrices and composites with a high of solidity coefficient and operational properties.
