- Abstract
- A comprehensive study of the effect of various contents of metastable Al2O3 nanofibers on the consolidation processes, structure and properties ceramic of composite material ZrO2 (3 mol. % Y2O3) + Al2O3 has been carried out. Samples with a density of more than 97 % were obtained for compositions with an NF-Al2O3 content of up to 10 vol. %. The use of Al2O3 nanofibers under study contributes to a decrease in sintering temperature, and to the greatest extent this effect is demonstrated by composition from 1 vol. % nanofibers.
