- Abstract
- The design of a rotatational dust collector operating on the principle of a centrifugal separator is considered. A feature of the design of the device is the presence of two outlet pipes of spiral channels. In this paper, the simulation of the movement of dust particles of different density from 1000 to 3000 kg/m3 and a diameter of from 1 to 100 microns. It is shown that the efficiency of the apparatus increases with an increase in the flow rate of the purified air and the particle trapping density. Ways to improve the design of the device to improve its efficiency are considered.
