- Abstract
- The paper presents experimental results of studying the deformation behavior and failure of tubular specimens based on braided solid-woven carcasses made of UMT40-3K fibers and carbon-ceramic matrix. Special features are described for the tests under longitudinal tension and compression as well as under hoop tension and compression. The authors considered several features of manufacturing the specimens with 0/±45° и ±45° reinforcing structures and analyzed their effect on deformation and failure behavior of the specimens as well as numerical values of stiffness and strength characteristics.
