- Abstract
- This article provides an overview and analysis of factories of the future and the transition to industry 4.0. A study of a number of scientific papers and articles on this topic. A little understanding of the factories of the future in the Russian scientific community is revealed. In this regard, the main objective of this article is to review the smart factories and their specifics in Russia. The classification of various types of factories and various technologies that are used in industry 4.0 are considered. The mechanism of transition from a discrete factory to a smart one is described in detail, and the problems of transferring to a new industry are examined. Unique ways of interaction between the work of manufactories and education are considered. The technologies considered in the article are currently being integrated into modern production. The stages of digital transformation are formed for the transition to smart factories and solutions to possible problems in integration are advanced.
