- Abstract
- The test results of three groups of T800 carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) under their static tensile loading under temperatures of T1 = 20 оC and T2 = 100 оC are presented. CFRPs were fabricated using autoclave molding technology at temperatures of 80, 135, 180 оC. During the static loading of samples signals from defects were registered by acoustic emission (AE) method. The stages of destruction of the CFRP are determined from the analysis of changes in activity, activity growth coefficient, and MARSE energy parameter. The proposed criterion for assessing the onset of destruction of CFRP, based on the parameters of AE signals analysis, made it possible to determine the moments of change of damage accumulation processes at the beginning of active destruction.
