- Abstract
- The opportunity of improving the construction of modern devices through the use of transparent in a wide wavelength range ceramics based on nanopowder of aluminum-magnesium spinel obtained by the sol-gel method are considered. The final characteristics of ceramics are highly sensitive to the powder sol-gel synthesis parameters and the characteristics of the precursors. The temperature boundaries of the spinel formation for system Al(NO3)3·9H2O/Mg(NO3)2·6H2O, the optimal values of the heating rate in this range, the holding time at the final temperature, the concentration of salts in the gel, and the intensity of ultrasonic treatment of powder precursors have been determined.
