- Abstract
- Layer Object Manufacturing (LOM) process with the following Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) was used for the manufacturing of Si-B-Mo-C-based ceramic composite samples. It was shown that a milti-layered structure with carbon fibrous inclusions mimicking biological composites possess more complex failure mode as compared with monolith ceramics.
