- The article analyzes in detail the system of waste management in different countries. The main stages of waste processing, where special attention is paid to the initial sorting of waste, are considered. The programs of separate collection of solid waste in Russia are described. Modern ways of solving the problems of waste minimization and recycling are analyzed.
