- Abstract
- This article discusses the development trends of the global market for blockchain technologies and smart contracts. A comparative analysis of the most common and promising platforms for the development and algorithmic implementation of smart contracts is performed. The key features of the operation of each of the blockchain platforms during the development of digital technologies, the emergence of new applications and financial services, as well as in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic are revealed.
