- Abstract
- According to the results of the analysis of information and technical reference books of the best available technologies, it was found that not all ITS BATS contain marker substances and their technological indicators. For industries, the contamination of wastewater with common widespread substances is not disclosed, for which the standards of permissible discharges are not calculated. It is noted that the uncontrolled process of dumping pollutants can lead to a significant deterioration in the water quality of surface water bodies, affect the state of biota, bottom sediments of aquatic ecosystems, the coastal zone and affect the growth of a number of diseases of the population. It is recommended to supplement ITS BAT with marker substances for discharges in certain industries, to establish standards for permissible exposure to water bodies.
