- Abstract
- Considered process of manufacturing carbon fiber by vacuum forming prepregs. The reasons for the formation of porosity in carbon fiber, the preparation of raw materials for the manufacturing process of the material - carbon fabric and prepreg, as well as the technology of manufacturing prepreg and polymer composite material (PCM) based on it are considered. The physicomechanical properties of the resulting material, both elementary samples and a structurally similar element of the product, are investigated. A comparison of the properties of carbon fiber produced by both vacuum and autoclave molding prepreg.
