- Abstract
- Ways to reduce the cost of polymer composite materials (PCM) are considered. One of the ways to reduce the cost is to replace fairly expensive and resource-intensive autoclave molding on alternative babulling processes. Replacement often used in aircraft industry of tubular parts of designs on carbon fibre, executed with use volume reinforcing braiding preform, will provide decrease in weight characteristics of products and will allow to implement the automated processes of production. The properties of carbon fiber based on a volume-reinforcing wicker preform and molten epoxy both on flat plates of so and tubular elements.
