- Abstract
- Rapid reprogramming of industrial robots is essential for the efficient operation of flexible manufacturing systems (FMS). In this paper, the actual concept of programming industrial robots offline is presented. The modern approach involves the use of a geometric CAD model of the manipulator in a separate program to simulate the movements of the robot and create a trajectory, followed by loading the program into the robot controller. Offline programming of industrial robots is shown on the example of a honey-cake production line assembled in the ABB RobotStudio.
