- Abstract
- This article presents the results of research on the possibility of using the most common types of cullet together with quartz sand to obtain a glass-ceramic material for electrical insulation purposes. For the plasticization of the charge and as a temporary technological bundle, an introductory solution of polyvinyl alcohol was additionally introduced into the composition of the charge. The article presents the dependences of the main properties of the obtained material on the amount of cullet and its chemical composition. The resulting material is characterized by sufficiently high values of physical and mechanical, and dielectric characteristics for an electrotechnical material. The thermal coefficient of linear expansion in the range from 20 to 500 оC will make it possible to obtain consistent junctions with molybdenum, tungsten, kovar and their alloys using the developed material. The use of the developed composition can expand the possibilities for the disposal of cullet, including in relation to consumer waste, with the receipt of electrical products.
