- Abstract
- The influence of dispersion of the reactants (titanium dioxide, aluminum oxide and carbon) on the process of carbothermal reduction in the Al-Ti-O-C was studied. It was established that increase of dispersivity of initial particles of titatium dioxide and carbon has an influence in equal measure on increase of deoxidation reaction rate of titanium dioxide.
