- Abstract
- The article shows for the first time the possibilities of using wastewater treatment technologies for capturing and utilizing carbon dioxide. The options for the use of physical and chemical, including flotation, wastewater treatment technologies for capturing and utilizing carbon dioxide, as well as the cultivation of microalgae, for which carbon dioxide is a substrate, are analyzed. It is emphasized that almost 2 tons of carbon dioxide is required to grow 1 ton of microalgae biomass. Examples of instrumentation for the processes of capturing and utilizing carbon dioxide are given.
