- Abstract
- The article presents the results of evaluating the features of the distribution of the equivalent dose rate of gamma radiation in large industrial cities of the Rostov region - Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog. Gamma background studies were carried out in areas with high-rise residential buildings, in park areas and in industrial areas of cities. It is shown that the gamma background in these cities does not change with time, is evenly distributed over the territories of cities and averages 0.10-0.13 µSv/h.
