- Abstract
- An approach is proposed to take into account the climatic conditions of operation in the design of window systems based on the calculation of the thermal resistance of a multi-chamber double-glazed window, its geometric dimensions and the number of chambers. A mathematical model of non-isothermal laminar air movement in the space between glasses has been developed, which takes into account heat transfer through the glass. The dependences of thermal resistance on the temperature difference at the boundaries of the glazing relative to the base temperature, the distance between the glasses, the height and position of the separating glass are investigated.
