- Abstract
- Possibility of developing of cryogenic fuel tanks for liquid-propellant launch vehicles made of polymer composite materials using anisogrid lattice structures as load-bearing elements of the tank shell with an internal metal liner. Technological features are given of the tank are considered. The experimental data obtained on a scale model of the tank under consideration are presented. The results of an experimental study of the carrying capacity and weight efficiency of cryogenic fuel tanks of the proposed design are compared with the design characteristics of a similar waffle metal tank.
