- Abstract
- The results of the development of a thermal insulation coating are presented of development of a heat-insulating coating based on polimeric binder with dence filling with hollow microspheres (up to 70 % of volume). The article compares the coating with popular types of polyurethane foam. It illustrates the possibility to utilize Aquisol - 159 for heat-insulation of oil and gas pipelines. The article provides for specific technical solutions related to those pipelines, describes the technology of coating and delivers the results of calculations and experiments. It proposes options to utilize reinforced Aquisol-159 for solving issues of technical safety for coal, oil producing and other mines.
