- Abstract
- This article provides a brief review of study the features of the use of ion-exchange softening for water hardness removal and sewage treatment. The selection of technology of ion-exchange and their schemes, as well as the design of filters, grows both from the qualitative composition of the treated water, and from the required quality of the treated water. Methods of mineralized effluents handling into sewer systems and treatment are reviewed and discussed. Consider proposals of methods to reduce sewage, improving the quality of filtration.
