- Abstract
- The issues of compensation of voltage distortions in electric power networks are considered. It is shown that a voltage imbalance of several percent leads to significant losses of electricity in the electric drive and a decrease in its power. The use of voltage stabilizers or balancing transformers reduces the reliability of electric power systems of enterprises, in addition, they have significant weight and size characteristics. A new way to compensate for voltage imbalances based on the use of capacitors that perform the function of reactive power compensation is proposed.
