- Abstract
- The article reviews one of acute issues of the definition of pressure under cavitational flow. The article presents a methodology used to numerically simulate the shape of a cavity, define features of multiphase flow and estimate hydrodynamic loads and hydrodynamic parameters of composite items flown around with vertical water cavitational stream. The article provides the comparison of analyzed and experimental data. It also demonstrates the possibility of applying the methodology to define hydrodynamic parameters of items under multiphase flow.
