- Abstract
- The article presents the results of the authors' study of the applicability of the artificial intelligence elements of the CAM Expert module of the ADEM system for automating the design processes of milling operations on CNC machines. A methodology for assigning conditions for 2.5-coordinate milling of bulk products on CNC machines for flat milling has been developed. Techniques for optimizing cutting modes by chip thickness during contour milling with variable allowance are proposed. A method for determining the conditions of plunger milling to ensure a given quality of the treated surface is shown. An example of automation of the design processes of milling operations for CNC machines during the preparation of the production of the part "Plate" of the mold for the thermoplastics of the machine is given.
